Wondering why I get this on a lot of the pics on threads, is the issue on my end or on the posters end? thanks.

The problem is not on your end. Recently some of the sites which used to host pictures for free have ended that practice. Unless the owner of the pictures agrees to some sort of subscription ($$$) to the service, those links to the pictures are gone. That is why you get that message.

Thanks for that info. I thought I had to do something to be able see the pics.
So now lots of good info now lost/vanished...
