Stamped Bumper

My grandfather owned a GMC dealership in Trumann Arkansas in the 60s and 70s. Im looking for a truck with his dealership stamped in the bumper. Jimmy's GMC Trumann Arkansas. Do any of you guys have any advice for me to find what I'm looking for? Any info would be great!

Re: Stamped Bumper

Not the one your looking for but I've got a bumper stamped from McLain Chevrolet Kennett MO not too far away from you.

I don't know how to track one down? I guess a lot of it will be luck. If I found the records of his sales would I be able to track vin numbers somehow?

Re: Stamped Bumper

I would post WTB ads on Craigslist in the area hoping to find one and I would be hitting the wrecking yards. After this much time you might find one stuck on a Datsun pickup. You wouldn't need the adapter kit but you would have the bumper.

Good luck!

Re: Stamped Bumper

Glad people are still interested in those bumpers. I saw one at Goodguys in Fort Worth last month.
