It took a long time to get there. I'm glad it got there in good shape. Enjoy your new truck!

Congrats, I love this truck. I'm sure you will drive MANY miles in Kuwait before you see another 1969 GMC Custom Camper Sierra 2500 coming the other way!

Why ship to Kuwait when you could ship to Nevada instead? I bet it's dryer in Kuwait.

Driving over there is an adventure, and there are ALOT of very high end cars that aren't available here in the US that just plain FLY on those roadways.
I wish the new owner the very best.
likewise, hope the best for those classics in a that environment..

thank you
lol, ok, good luck anyways..

for as few miles as I was on the road and the light traffic density, I haven't seen worse driving anywhere else in the world that I have been out of approx 40 countries..

Sicily, Italy is a close tie with Busan, Korea for second.. not a straight piece of metal on anything on the road..

and this is only a fraction of the carnage I've seen on the roadside in Kuwait, just what I happened to see in time to snap a picture..

Ok....back to the truck. Nice looking truck...your other work looks great also.

PS: the most unsafe place to drive in the world is within a 100 yard radius of my 16 year old

Re: MY NEW 1969 GMC Custom Camper Sierra 2500

agreed, nice truck but wrong again op..

by your own reference the fatality rate is almost doubled in Kuwait compared to the US regardless of cause..

my apologies if you're taking this personally but you're reporting inaccuracies and that sticks in my craw..

I served two tours in Kuwait, the first one in defense of an invasion that would have destroyed it without intervention.. the latter much more pleasant..

I'm all on board with your patriotism, but your interpretation of the driving situation there is off..

there are endless articles written about it abroad.. stay safe over there and keep up the preservation of the classics!

Kuwait has world's most dangerous highways

Quote:
According to the Traffic National Strategy, around 200 Kuwaitis are killed and 6,000 are injured annually in traffic accidents, giving Kuwait the world's top ranking in the number of deaths and injuries resulting from traffic accidents.

You'd really have to look up fatalities per road mile driven (which is the typical stat) to know. I don't know the answer, but total fatalities isn't it.
