124,000 mile brake check 2007 1/2 ton Silverado

Checked and cleaned my front disk and rear drum brake systems yesterday. Should have taken pictures .The front disc brake shoes & disc looked darn near new! I estimate them lasting longer than the truck. The rear looked thin. I remember on my 2005 buying new shoes only to find out the new shoes were as thin as the ones that I replaced.

Cool. I wish I were so lucky. New front rotors around 45,000. NEW brake booster and master cylinder at 55,000! However, this truck has been really GOOD to me and is still the most trouble-free vehicle I've ever had.
