JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

Hey guys, so this is my first of this body style truck but I'm not new to GM trucks at all, Ive had a number of 67-72 c-10's, I've had a lifted LLY Duramax and currently have a 2016 Duramax Denali.

I've wanted one of these trucks for quite a few years and I've been putting a ton of miles on my new truck so I decided it was time for a daily. I have looked for one of these for a decent price for a long time but never could find anything. I wanted a newer truck because I like the dash a little better and a few other things. well lucky for me a good friend of mine had just picked one up a few moths ago and jokingly I asked if he was ready to sell it. to my surprise he said yes. So now I currently own 3 GM trucks haha.

I also have a C10 build you may want to check out.

the specs on the truck are 5.7 vortec, 4l80, g80 locker,pw ect 160k miles. the truck is in great shape with a few ding and clear coming off in a few area but ZERO body rust minus the rear bumper which is unheard of in this area. the plan is to lower it and drive the crap out of it with a few things here and there. if I keep it for awhile it will probably get painted.

well here she is

oh and here is my C10 ive had for about 15 years

Re: JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

they goal for the truck is to maybe do a mix of these 2 trucks. I've had a man crush on both of these for awhile. I cant decide if I want to do with the trim, grille and bumpers. Pretty sure I'm going to go with a roll pan and ditch the trim. the grill and bumper are another story. one minute I want to do one thing the next I want to do the other.

Re: JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

Very sharp! Did someone swap the 60E out for an 80E?

Chrome smoothy bumper and a painted roll pan, leave the trim.

Re: JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

Well guys since my old pics aren't showing up Ill just start over sort of. So I've had the ole SilveREDo for quite awhile now. I've been driving it almost every day to work and I love it. I finally got around to doing the Belltech 5-7 drop a couple weekends ago and it made a huge difference. The truck looks awesome now. I'm gonna keep making it better as time goes on but I really like that its rough around the edges and I don't have to worry about it so much

Re: JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

Your truck looks great with the drop you installed.
I just wish someone made some narrowed a-arms to suck the front wheels in a little.
Don't those front tires rub on every little bump?

Re: JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

Thanks guys! I really like the way it turned out. They did rub pretty bad but I rolled the fenders and so far so good!

Re: JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

at some point I would like to get the truck painted but I can decide if I want to go no trim with a red grill, bumper and roll pan or just put new chrome and trim back on it.

Re: JUS2QWK's RCSB Red Daily

Do the chrome and trim, but yes on the roll pan. You need something to break up all the red.
