First order of business is figuring out if I should change rims and get rid of 16.5.

What other rims fit?
16.5" means you have 8-lug wheels. You can buy later model GM wheels that are 16", or go to one of the few vendors who sell 16.5" tires. I got my tires at Firestone, but when I went to replace the spare, I got a wheel for a later model truck that had 16" wheels. When these tires go, I'll swap to the 16" wheels for them too. I was under time constraints when I went to the new 16.5" tires, and didn't want to wait around to get the 16" wheels.

Re: everybody post a pic of your truck.

At one time I had posted a picture of my '69 C10, but of course Photobucket killed it.

Now that I FINALLY figured out to post pictures again well...

Re: everybody post a pic of your truck.

Well thank you!

Purchased it back on 3/29/95 and the guy I got it from said his daughter picked out the color.

I did have a paint shop match the color years later, and make me up a couple of touch-up rattle cans, and the label says: DAR 2188 MED BLUE.

It's pretty darn close as you can tell where I painted the stainless rear view mirror bases.

Sure am glad I can post pictures again!
