Will a 6 auto set up out of a 70 fit these years of trucks? If not what would be a straight swap?

Need more info. What year truck do you have? With what engine and tranny. What engine and tranny does the 70 have?

The 63-66 trucks used the 250. Most of the trucks had manual trannys in them, so you will have to consider transmission linkage and probably drive shaft. The exception would be a 292 six which has it's motor mount tower in a different location. You could even use a V8, then you will have to reroute the engine wiring harness. Hope this helps.
