1985 Dually Aftermarket Lug Nuts ?? Can't find correct Conical seat angle..

Like the title says... I'm running stock 16" wheels and Lug Rings on my 1985 3+3. Parts manual says the stock Lug nuts are 90 degree conical seat, as are the stock replacement nuts you get from the parts store. I'd like to run some tall (2") or so chrome or billet nuts on my truck but so far have only found a 60 degree seat advertised that say "will not fit stock wheels". Now I've probably mix matched these seats many times un-knowingly on my many junk vehicles through the years but I pull a lot of weight with this truck and want it right. Anyone have a solution other than stock Lug nuts ?? Thanks in advance

Did you try losing the lug rings and looking for flat washer style lug nuts like they use on some Fords?

I have considered that ! Not sure what they have in those as far as acorn style or longer ( closed end for looks) but that may be an option ?? I would rather keep the conical style i believe. (No reason i guess ?) I understand that the 90 degree comes from two opposing sides at 45 degrees. I did finally find one listing a minute ago for an acorn style nut. At 10.00 a piece !!😧😵 Maybe stock ones look just fine

After half a day searching the web and calling around, I found a cheaper alternative that will suit just fine.. Wheel Masters 8010 stainless Lug nut covers. 13.00 for 8 , plus free shipping !!

Why not just chuck the new nuts up in your lathe & run the angle you want on them?

That is one option.. I don't personally own one but have access to one anytime... My wheels are painted white , Rings are painted Black, I think the Stainless covers will do ok. I'm going for a work truck look anyway but though these would give a different look ??

I run the new style caps on my 91 Dually, Had local machine shop mill the wheel plate at the correct lug angle. Gave them the plates and one lug nut for reference. Fits great.
