A while ago I visited a site in Orange County, CA. I forget the name of the parts supplier though. Can someone remind me?

Golden State Truck Parts was there. I think they moved to Nevada but they may still have a warehouse there. Its changed hands a few years back and Im not sure of the quality. Im also not willing to talk about quality of one supplier or another due to the pi$$ing war going on as of late with a board member and a east coast supplier! I ain't go'n there

I was there in November and GSPP had just left, the truck shop is the big one with a car section and a truck section.

Why not buy parts from a Canadian supplier? there are a bunch of them around . Scotts Super Trucks in Alberta, Bills Truck Shop?? in Ontario, Mid Canada Classics, Iron Cheif out in Alberta

dubie - have you worked with any of the Canadian suppliers? Any advice about prices and service?

junkyardjohn had the right one. I wanted to check their site because they had a sweet vacuum gauge conversion kit.

Once you consider the exchange rate, shipping, duty and taxes, the Canadian suppliers are right in the ball park for price. I have dealt mostly with Scotts. you can view their site for more info

Walker auto parts on Century also sells stuff for 67-72's

I have priced out Canadian suppliers and compared them with the US suppliers and I found with everything I priced out that the Canadian suppliers had significantly higher prices.

That's what I found too. I live close to the US border, so it is easy t zip across to pick-up UPS or USPS items to avoid higher shipping costs for international orders.

Even with exchange, which as been lower lately, it seems like the prices are consistently better south of the border.

See being up here we get bent over on shipping from the USA. As soon as you get north of The Pas or Swan River, the shipping cost goes WAY up. So I have found that the cost of Canadian suppliers parts is about par with US suppliers.

Yeah, not a GM, but I love it. 1969 GMC 32,000 - fix, drive, relax, fix... 2019 BMW R1250 GSA - Yahoooooooo 1979 Honda GL 1000 - retro touring at its best. Past: '05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner. '94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350. '76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod. '68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect. '59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said.
