Blazer Hatch /Top Repair

Anyone had repair work done on the hatch by a boat/body person. How costly was it and did it last. Have a hatch with a hairline crack on one hinge and one where the side latch is. Really a decent hatch compared to the thousand of trashed ones I had seen. Got a new one and thinking of selling this one not sure If I want to fix and sell or just sell

I've got one of those trashed ones your speaking of. Let me know if you decide to sell either one of them...

Diane (1970Blazin) had work done to her top. They also had the texture smoothed at the same time. It looks really nice. I think they had the work done by a friend of theirs who does fiberglass work.

Here are pics of the top and the hatch a friend of my husband did for us. The guy who did the work has a boat refinishing/building business, and also builds furniture- VERY talented guy! He did a great job, but told me that he would charge big $$ next time as it was VERY time consuming!! (Handsanding it smooth!!)

Here is a pic of the hatch- it wasn't broken in half or anything, but still needed some work!

Diane, I look at your pictures, then I look at my truck and cry. You have done so much in half the time I've owned mine. Lately, it seems like the main purpose of my truck is to make sure the grass doesn't grow on the side yard. I did get that emblem you sent me on the other day. It looks so much better than the holes in the fender! Thanks again.
