Post your Pictures of your in bed side mount spare tire covers
I'm going to mount my spare tire in the bed of my fleetside the way it done was stock. Just curious to see how any of you have covered the tire to protect it from the elements. I was thinking of doing a cover from the 40s made of metal like the photo below. Any ideas out there.....

That actually looks like the cover off of a '70's or '80's van.... LockDoc

I like these as well as I am using original style bias tires. Just wanted to see how something like this would look in the bed on a fleetside?

How about seeing some mounts for these tires?

If you go to Google Images and type in "vintage spare tire covers" it will show some of the older covers. There will be some newer stuff mixed in.... LockDoc

Re: Post your Pictures of your in bed side mount spare tire covers
I have a black vinyl cover for my side-mounted spare tire. It has some elastic material to it so it's easy to get on and of. Dad picked it up somewhere in the early 1990's I believe.

Re: Post your Pictures of your in bed side mount spare tire covers
I have the spare tire cover out of my 95 Jeep Cherokee. It got wrecked and before it got towed away I snagged it, and the cargo net. The one I have is tan. But they came in othe colors. If anything it could be used as a pattern for the color of your choice. I have the side mount ready to install when I replace the bed wood (which is ready in the garage).
