Got a GMC tailgate taken off a camper new. Only storage wear. Some slight surface rust on one edge only paint and surface no pitting. Latch mechanism appears to work. Tailgate is STRAIGHT no dings no dents no heavy scratches. All edges and corners are PERFECTLY STRAIGHT off and base model truck no trim no trim holes. Asking $400 plus shipping lower 48 or delivered with in an hour of Janesville wi. Pics to follow.

Usually picture posting problems means the picture is too big. Try making it smaller and see if that works.

Rare piece well rare as they come on these lol. From a year of "bad" sheet metal. May consider trades for who knows what. Or partial trades.

This is a really hard to find piece! I really can't imagine why no one has bought this! I guess there are not enough 73-74 GMC trucks being restored!

This is a a fair price... I think. 600 shipped is where I was at which is fair too I think considering there's 100 in shipping probably. So 400 is nearly a bargain considering its not being repoped and I can almost guarantee it won't be. There is no pitting on the rust you see. Thanks for the bump 1774. I know the last one I saw sell on here was in way way way worse shape and brought good money

I just missed a red/white letter Chevrolet camper take off locally for only $150. I tried to snag it today but it was already gone. Dang thing was holy grail perfect by pictures. I know one company that used their take offs as shelving in their garage rafters and drilled holes in them to screw them down!!! AAAAAAAAARRRRRRAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!

I would say that the ad is old enough that if he does still have it I would bet the price has went up. Squarebody stuff is selling for a lot more than when he originally posted it. There is a 73-74 gate here in town but it isn't anywhere as nice as that one

I have 3 of these gates, they are rare and guys like me won't sell them. This one looks pretty darn good. Mine all have the letters, tailgate band and trim holes. I agree $400 is a good deal
