Hi Alex - indeed the only metric nuts on these trucks I'm aware of. Does the pic help? These are the correct acorn nuts for OEM camper and below eyeline mirrors (head fits on a 9/16" socket) and a set of NOS 90 degree arms for the same, which have size 10 thread diameter. NAPA has stainless replacement nuts but these have a more rounded head. Pete

Very interesting. I thought they were 3/8-16 thread and I screwed on some chrome acorn nuts as they were the only ones I could find that looked the same shape as originals. Did I ruin the threads?

I know some folks have used chrome examples with a similar appearance successfully but don't recall any specifics on the threads. These chrome examples are available on the motorcycle market. The closest example I could find locally were the metric examples I mentioned. There are threads here that discuss these acorn nuts in more detail.
