1955 3/4 ton pickup

Forest service, Civil Defense and Fire trucks were sometimes built to order and could have a 1 Ton running gear undera 3/4 Ton and short beds where normally would have been long beds, I can't say if GM actually produced these or if they were sent off to a coach builder but I have seen 3/4 ton duallies and heavy half tons that were for heavy services such as above.
