Fuel tank vent question
I recently installed an under bed fuel tank( top fill) I purchased from LMC. It has port that is supposed to be for a return line for Fuel Injection. Question is, does that need to be used as a vent for the tank, or does the tank vent thru the gas cap.
Thanks P.S. I'll post up some pictures of the tank and some other stuff tomorrow. |

Re: Fuel tank vent question
I would (and did) install a vent line with a loop in it for rollover protection. I put a small filter on it to keep bugs and mud dabblers from fouling it.

Re: Fuel tank vent question
I would do a vent line at least the same size as your supply line. I had to install a couple of extra ports for high and low pressure returns and a vent with a filter so that it's EFI ready. I run a rollover ball vent fitting.

Re: Fuel tank vent question
It's easier if your just using a carburetor system then yes use a rollover valve and tube it away. I prefer out and up with a loop or 90 in it for rollover protection.
