Differences in 12B leaf pads? Flip kit doesnt fit

Finishing up trying to install my Ridetech Streegrip kit but running into issues. It appears my leaf pads on the axle I have sit slightly higher off the axle tube than was is common. Therefore the flip brackets dont fit snug up into the bottom of the leaf pad. This allows for lots of rotation of the axle. The picture is poor but you can see the top of the new bracket doesn't go into the bottom of the leaf pad. Most of the pictures I found online show the ubolts sitting flush with the top of the leaf pad. My pads sit roughly a half inch or more above the tops of the ubolts.

I've talked with ridetech and they don't really have a solution. I found a random picture on Google of some leaf pads that appear to match what i have bit can't find any info on them. The brackets seem taller than mine but that's just eyeballing them. (1st pic)

Anyone ran into this?

Per our conversation earlier, I think that only minor trimming will need to be done to the bracket to make it fit. I believe just a tad too much was taken off initially and I'm hoping that the new brackets that I sent you this afternoon will fix the problem. I sent the order back to the warehouse this morning to have them expedite it out at no charge. I'm hoping that the new brackets will solve the problem and we can get your truck back out on the road!

I appreciate it.

I'm still concerned they wont be correct. The replacement brackets do add height at the rear but nothing at the front. This will in turn rotate the pinion downward. I'm concerned that may pose a problem even if some of the slop in the bracket is taken up. Ill guess Ill see when I put them in.

Just looking to see if anyone else out there has an axle that's similar.
