Shaved firewall queston

I’m doing a complete frame off restoration and in the middle of smoothing out the firewall. I’ve been through past threads and see a lot of clean beautiful work my queston is the e brake where do you run the cable and the speedo cable

Re: Shaved firewall queston

Thanks for the input but I was kinda looking for ideas or suggestions as to where and what to use to avoid the clutter coming out of the firewall

Re: Shaved firewall queston

Ya sorry I just reread it and your right I wasn’t very clear. I want the clean smooth look and want to still have them, if I was going buckets I could adapt one between the seats but I plan on a bench seat. Speedo not to worried about it’s the e brake

Re: Shaved firewall queston

It's hard to see, but my speedo cable and ebrake cable came through the same hole just below the column. I removed the ebrake cable and handle assembly when I changed to rear discs, though. I'll eventually do them correctly and reinstall the cable.

Re: Shaved firewall queston

You could always go the same route that I am going. Smooth the firewall and use a GPS speedo, that way you don't have to worry about where the cable is going
