Motor Mount
Putting a small block in place of the 292, where can I buy a frame motor mount to replace the right side one on the 292?

Re: Motor Mount
Keep an eye on the 60's and 67-72 parts forum section.

Re: Motor Mount
Actually, you might be better off just getting the 73-87 mounts. They are far superior.

Re: Motor Mount
The '67-'72 230/250 engine mount brackets are the same as the '63-'66 230/250 and small block brackets
If you go this route, you will want the brackets from a C20 or C30. Those fit the early frames better than the brackets from a C10. And yes those are a far superior engine mount Quote:

Re: Motor Mount
Good luck on your engine swap project. If you don't need the old 292 mount ( or 292 engine ) please consider posting it in the parts for sale section as they are somewhat rare and there are people that need them ( I know because I have been that guy in the past).
Thanks, Tom
