Measurement request

Can someone please help me out with the measurement from the back wall of the cab to the first bed mount?

I have a '71 with the bed removed, measurement is 2 3/4. I can send a pic if needed. Hope this helps.

Yes, that helps! Thank you very much. I’m sitting at 3 1/2”, maybe this explains why NOTHING is lining up.

That bracket steel is on an angle.
Best to measument form cab to center of bolt hole for more accurate placement.
