1 st run for the season!

The cab (inside) is ripped for paint......no dash cluster, no tach, no carpet, no radio......just a 6spd richmond "whining" under the truck, & a 383 with a noisey top end (fast ramps & heavy springs). no doubt, it was the best ride of the yr! Wind it till the teeth rattle, & shift a bunch of times! that little stroker is running a 500 2 brl Holley, & runs like stink from idle to about 5700! the revs go fast the 1st couple gears.....it only takes 2 houses up the block, to have 4 gears (just cruisin)! The bars are workin, she goes straight, with no hop.....the exhaust sounds sweet.....I got the fever bad There is nothing sweeter than listening to a sb Chev run! 67-72 FOREVER......crazyL

Sure sounds like sweet music to my ears! Is this fever contagious, 'cause I'm suddenly not feeling so good!

The fever is very contagious......but it should feel good! i was bitten 25yrs ago, & have had a 3 daily drivers in the 67-72 era. That old longhorn drew "blood".....purchased in dec of 1984,& stayed with me through a wife, 2 boys, a house, new cars, ect....yes, i still have the rest of my world, & its all sweet! the old truck was a hard fight tween the wifey & me for many yrs......I still have them both tho, so I really feel like the winner those 2 boys are rotten, but they are mine & I wouldnt trade them for the world Life is good.......crazyL
