Radio

Hi guys, anyone know if you can buy a reproduction original looking stereo faceplate? thinking of fabricating a trick retractable cupholder where the radio goes but with a radio face so it looks like standard when not in use, but don't fancy buying an expensive worn out unit to cut up (unfortunately my truck didnt even come with one)

Re: Radio

I'm not aware of a faceplate only, but you could perhaps build one out of an old defunct AM radio. Broken ones (radios, that is) aren't too hard to find.

Re: Radio

Why would you want a cup holder in the middle of your dash? leaking /spilling/ condensation it's got to be the worst place to put one

Re: Radio

Yeah that's probably the route I'll have to take, I'm just surprised no-one makes restoration parts for the radio :/
