Steering Wheels!!!!!
I'm looking to find a steering wheel for my truck.....i think they come out of post '88 chevy trucks, I've seen them on some s-10s also ....it looks like this (see drawing below), it has 'chevrolet' written on the horn button. will this steering wheel work on my 68? I'll try to get an actual pic of it....

I've got that exact steering wheel from what i can see, except mine has GMC (for some odd reason) and it came that way when i bought it. i've got an 85 s-10 blazer never seen that sorta wheel. but my 91 silverado had a similar styled wheel, i'm sure they have diff caps too. so i'd look for an 87-98 (?) series wheel in the yards, nice pick-a-part should be just fine. Good luck

Those wheels came on 88-94 (last year before airbags). The best ones are the last style that had wider spokes and a softer grip. Be careful of used ones that were in a lot of sun. The top of the wheel where you grip it will get mushy and separate from the metal under it.

I have that wheel in my burb and it makes driving long distances so much more comfortable than the old skinny wheel.

I SAW THAT ONE ON EBAY!!!
68 SUBURBAN
Thats the exact steering wheel that i saw on ebay that made me want that style of wheel. Plus my girl and her dad have the GM one on both their 63's. Too bad I don't have any money right now or I would make you an offer or bid to win. If you are interested in trading anything I have a few 68 parts, let me know. -roger
