F/S Targetmaster 292 engine

I have a 74-78 Goodwrench Targetmaster longblock 292 engine for sale. It was payment for a V-8 swap I did. Engine has 18,000 miles and ran very well. I pulled it out about 3 months ago and it is sitting in my 65 truck.
Comes with intake and manifold, dist and wires, alt bracket, crank pulley, and passengerside motor mount.

$300 OBO
I will NOT ship, I am located 30 miles west of Fort Bragg NC
If you want more pix give me email and I will send.

Thanks,
Steve

Re: F/S Targetmaster 292 engine

I thought so to, I was going to use it in my 67 4x4 that I am restoring back to factory. I did some searching in a shop that is being sold. They have been doing meduim and large trucks since the 30's. I found a complete 67 . correct date code, factory replacement 292.

Re: F/S Targetmaster 292 engine

Steve,
Would you consider $300 minus gas from Williamsburg VA and back? I'm sure I could talk my Dad into a quick trip to Fayetteville if I bribed him with gas money. It is undoubtedly worth $300, but since you posted it that way, give me your "best offer" price and I will talk him into it. This motor is a combination of "wish you were closer" AND "can't pass it up" that I should be able to work out! Let me know. Thanks, Mike

Re: F/S Targetmaster 292 engine

Sounds GREAT Steve. PM sent. Just checking, if I pay you, can it sit where it is, or do you need to get it out of there quick? My Dad sells antique furniture in Williamsburg, so he stays pretty busy, but I know he would pick it up for me, but it would have to be when he can fit it in with HIS schedule. Please let me know. Thanks, Mike

If not he likely made a boat anchor out of it sometime in the 11 years since he posted the ad.
