Details, wiring diagrams, pics, any and all info is appreciated. The new headers on the BB just don't leave any room for wires, it's that tight in there.

The new headers and Flowmasters sound great but if I melt wires and can't start it, the upgrade was a failure. Thanks for any info, this is a first for me with a remote solenoid.

It is no different than the solenoid on your starter except it is wired inline on the positive cable. The purple wire from your starter will now go to the S pole of the solenoid and if you are still running points the yellow wire will come from the other pole. If you are running HEI the other pole will be empty.

The only wire on your starter will be the positive cable coming from your new remote solenoid.

Last year I couldn't start my truck whent he temp was about 85 or so if I had been driving the truck for a while.

Since installing the remote selenoid, I have had no problems, but it hasn't gotten too hot yet this spring/summer.

Hey Pont, I got a remote solenoid kit from M.A.D. Enterprises, and it had everything included. The guy is in CA, and he is a pretty interesting guy to talk to. Summit kit might be the same, I'm not sure, but thought I'd give you another alternative to check out. My next step is going to be putting on a mini-starter and I'll be a happy trucker, with hopefully never another hot starter!
