Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Probably a Fire Chief.

I'm not for certain sure, but I think back in the day, If a Department bought a few bigger fire engines from GMC, the dealer could throw in a Jimmy, free, as a perquisite, for use as a Command Car.

I found a install video also of it.
Lets see your spot's guy's and where you mounted them for idea's. How high up should it be?

Hey Andy, That's great. Your tow rig needed a cop spot bad. So few people on this forum actually listen to me.
Last year, an old guy at work said he had some lights from his old Pontiac [or something]. When he gave them to me, I recognized them as GE sealed beam elements for the Unity 5'' cop spots. I ran a VOM across the leads and they're still good.
I have the Unity company's instruction sheet for installing their cop spot [using their p/n 202] in the A-pillar of a 67-72 GM truck somewhere. If you need it I could try attaching it to a post as a PDF.
Before I mount mine in the A-pillar of my '71 Jimmy, I need to install the roll bars, because there is serious rust-rot in the passenger side upper windsheild of that truck, and I don't trust it.

Re: Spot light

Here is mine. Its a factory Unity one with the correct 1967-72 mounting bracket in the correct place. You should be able to get a template from unity.com

I just love mine. i have one on both my trucks, its never in the way of my hands when sitting and driving, works great!

Thumbs up Re: Spot light

Thanks guy's. I'm been in contact with unity. They are sending me the mounting instructions and the drill bushing for it. Hope to get it in later next month are so. Got the Impala to get done first so it will be ready for the 2018 Myrtle beach show which will be a shake down run for the Power tour in June.
