Zip tie spark plug wire loom

Easy, cost effective, way to route the spark plug wires. I couldn't go down because of the drivers side header, so I went up. I will change the ties to red.

Re: Zip tie spark plug wire loom

Brackets are made from .90 aluminum sheet. Made a cardboard pattern, transferred it to sheet and used a wood bandsaw to cut it out. I have a finger break for the bend and bead blasted it. I notched the back side to keep the cross tie in place.

Re: Zip tie spark plug wire loom to distributor

I finished the bracket on the drivers side. My original distributor bracket didn't work out.

Re: Zip tie spark plug wire loom

Anyone who knows me knows I am not a fan of zip ties at all.

You made them work well here and us OCD guys are impressed

Very nice way to think out of the box.

Oh that is very pleasing to the eye. I was wondering what you were going to do with the curly q's in the back... well done. Straight or right angle boots on the cap? I'm going with straight on mine next time.

Re: Zip tie spark plug wire loom

If you mean the zip ties, I just cut them off. Mine are 90 degree boots on the cap. I will post a final photo of the finished product.

Re: Zip tie spark plug wire loom

Finished except for final wire cut (need to be shorter) and crimp. Maybe another zip tie or two, to hold the upper together.
