Questions on Power Steering

I just had a couple of questions.
One is does this steering shaft look like a 3/4"-30? with the flat side and all I wasnt sure.
And the other is what type of hose fittings are these? O-ring?

Re: Questions on Power Steering

Yes that is a 3/4" diameter shaft. I can not tell if it is 30 spline or 36. If you count the splines at about half way around that will tell you. That box accepts SAE inverted flare hose fittings

Re: Questions on Power Steering

is this a difference between 3/4 t and 1/2t? I have the larger one on mine. when I went to replace it once and ordered one it came with the smaller spline. had to reorder to get the correct one. vintage was 76 4 x 4

Re: Questions on Power Steering

I think if you look in Rock-Auto and bring up both units it would show if there is a difference, that's what I would do.
