Re: PO has me PO'd
![]() I wanted to mount the isolation blocks towards the edges of the aluminum mount, but they were to short. So, I settled for one block in the middle, countersunk and full thread, using my handi-dandi counter sink tool, that has been laying in my toolbox for thirty years, cool, the way you can adjust it for depth ![]() While I was sitting there, admiring my success of the week, poofff, my florescent light above my engine bay blows out. Now, we've all dropped one and know the out come. Carefully, undoing the bulb, it slips momentarily, and clanks the motor, no explosion, great! Bring the whole unit down to change out the other bulb. Put it in, and rehang unit, that is now working, it slips out of my hand, and the whole unit crashes into my motor. I'm stunned, as there is no explosion with shards of glass all over my engine compartment as well as some obnoxious gas we are not to breathe. I packed up and ended my day as I was sure I've extended my luck Now, I can move on to the XIM box, and mount it with isolaters I got from Mcmaster-Carr
