Wire Loom - PowerBraid on the cheap
I just thought I would share this.
Painless Performance sells a Powerbraid wire loom that is pretty pricey. I have found the identical product much cheaper. I know this because I have ordered both. If your interested in saving money try McMaster-Carr, Search Wrap-around sleeving or product #1459T13. ~Enjoy

No, I ordered the 1/2" at 25' for 22 bucks. Look close at the webpage listing.

Good find, Hellbent. I always forget about McMaster-Carr.

Re: Wire Loom - PowerBraid on the cheap
Great share for the rest of us. I was thinking about reinstalling wire loom on mine.

Re: Wire Loom - PowerBraid on the cheap
Like you I wanted the Painless stuff until I got sticker shock from the price. Instead I wound up ordering it from Amazon for a similar price as to what you found at McMaster. For me, Amazon is free 2 day shipping so I came out a little ahead going through them.
I did damn near the entire harness from bumper to bumper on my 74 with the stuff.

Re: Wire Loom - PowerBraid on the cheap
How was the shipping cost on this stuff? it doesnt look like they provide that before checkout... Some place are just ridiculous... I had a place tell me the cheapest they could ship a single 4inch long 3/8 stud was $16... uh nope...
