Pedal pivot location

I recently found a replacement seat for for my 62. While i was mocking it up and setting the height I realized the pedal placement in the truck is a little annoying. I wanted to shorten the stroke and figure out a way to reduce the upwards swing of the clutch pedal. After looking around, i notice there is a second set of factory holes under the dash to move the pedal pivot point closer to the firewall. A quick test fit confirmed it will easily mount up with only a few modifications to the pedals to change the spring and push rod attachment locations.

Does anyone know what trucks originally had the pedals mounted in the forward location? I'm trying to find pictures but not having much luck.
