Hippo Liner - Do it yourself - My experience
Well , decided to try the spray on liner myself on my 72 project. I will post pics tommorrow in daylight.
Tips - first thing to do is buy two kits for an 8 foot bed. One kit is definately not enough. Second - Throw out the roller they give you in the kit. It will only wreck the job. I hand brushed my entire box - a section at a time. First you brush on an area about two feet square, then go back with a bigger brush and texture it, so there is no stroke marks. Looks exactly like it is sprayed on, can't tell the difference, AS LONG AS YOU TEXTURE IT. This was an all afternoon, 5 hour job, by hand, but I am a bit of a perfectionist. It is a lot of work, but I like the result. Pics to follow tommorrow.

I brushed it on the inside of my cab for sound deadening, One can was almost not enough for it..
How thick did two cans make it come out? |

how well did that work for sound deadening? I am looking to do my burb but I dont want to pay 500 bucks to do it with dynamat!

Can't answer the sound deadening question yet. Truck not licenced yet, still have lots of work to do to make it road ready.
