Question stock GM Hei ground wire ?

I'm putting a stock GM Hei in my 402BB and I noticed on the plug that plugs into the dist. cap (black wire on the plug) has a electrical connector , but in the dist. cap there is no electrical plug for the black wire to plug into. Is there suppose to be one and where does it hook up to? and any info would be helpful. Thank you

There should be a wire or thin metal strap that goes from the coil mount [one of the 2 front holes] to the center of the 3 wire connector. If the strap is not there you will fry the module over a short period fo time.
