1968 c20 motor mount issues
I have a 1965 c10 long bed sitting on a 1968 c20 chassis. I'm dropping in a 350 from a 1995 1500. I went to drop the motor in today and ran across a problem. The bottom of the exhaust manifolds hit the frame before the bolt holes line up for the mounts themselves. I'm trying to find out if I'm missing something from the existing mounts or if I have to order new mounts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: 1968 c20 motor mount issues
You cannot use the 'log style' manifolds. It will either be the Ramhorn manifolds or a set of headers....OR a set of big block frame stands, but that will push your engine back 1-1/2''

Re: 1968 c20 motor mount issues
Is there a certain brand of header I should get? Long tube or shorties? Also, on the mounts I have on there, is there supposed to be a square rubber bushing between the mount and the frame bracket or does the mount bolt directly to the bracket?

Mount bolts directly to the frame stand. You'll have to do a search for the header

Thanks a ton for the help. I'm ordering a new set of ram horn manifolds with the 45 degree turn back today.
