Fuel tank hoses
I'm all about supporting our vendors, keep these trucks going. BUT, I try to avoid LMC when possible due to repeated errors over and over with an order some years ago. Unfortunately, they also really stick it to you in the shipping.
Does anyone know if any other dedicated hobby truck vendors carry the hoses in stock? Have the tank out on a 77 for replacement, want to replace the filler, vent, and sending unit to fuel line hoses while I'm at it. (I figure the sending to hard line ones I'll need to make from by-the-foot lines at the parts store... |

Re: Fuel tank hoses
You want SAE J30R9 hose for the sender to hard lines. You want to avoid the Ideal worm clamps on these small hoses. I'd use German Fuel Injection clamps or Rotor Clip type constant tension band clamps.
The filler hoses are available from LMC and Classic Industries. You may want to look up Captkaos from 73-87 Chevytrucks . He's a Vendor on this forum. I did a writeup on SAE hoses and various clamping products... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=696742
