Figured I would take a break from the firewall and fill up the gas filler neck hole. It took longer to make my circle than to weld it in.

I started stripping down the door and whoever did the body work was not very bright. I found up to 1/2" of body filler in places.

These are the wheels I plan to use. They are 20x8 for the front and 20x9.5 on the back.

I went ahead and filled in the hole for the blower motor and fabed up a piece to complete the firewall.

I decided I’m going to shave the drip rail. It is pretty rusted under there.

I started stripping all the paint off the back. I did find some quarter size dents that I will pull.

The first pic is where I started flattening out the firewall. The second pic is where I shaved off the cowl piece to make it look a little better. The third pic is just progress of the cab.
