Re: Re installing factory AM radio
Does your truck have a/c?
To my understanding all or most of the entire installation operation is best done through the glovebox. What that means is to remove the inner glovebox liner ....then to very carefully remove the defroster vent hoses. You might do well to get a new glovebox liner and a couple of new hoses because these often break apart during the process. ....a few more guys will weigh in to offer a little more insight into this. All good Coley

Re: Re installing factory AM radio
As Coley said the easiest way is with the glove box liner removed. I did this with my non-A/C truck and the eis lots of room with then liner removed. Liners are reproduced and seem to be good quality and not to expensive.

Interested in this information also. I have two spare AM radios. Not sure if any of the three are working and never took the time to test them. Bill
