Control arm bushing removal tool
Hey guys. Some local parts stores around me rent tools. I spoke to one guy who told me that a ball joint removal tool will not remove upper control arm bushings on my 97 Tahoe. I have seen different things online, but dont have a clear answer.
What is your experience?

Re: Control arm bushing removal tool
To remove the bushings, I usually use an air hammer. You can use a ball joint press if you have the right sized adapters.
