Re: 51 chevy build
Are you keeping the camaro wheels on there? I’m really wanting to do the camaro wheels on mine but haven’t seen too many with them. Nice fab work so far!

Re: 51 chevy build
They are actually wheels off of my nissan 350z. But they do look very similar. I was looking for a set of camaro or z06 wheels. They look nice and are beefy. I might need to do mini tubs.

Re: 51 chevy build
Finished and painted trans crossmember. Engine angle is 4.2 degrees down. Rear is 4.2 up
[IMG][/IMG] Finished the rear boxing plates. Left the fuel lines inside the frame for the back half of the truck. Ran out of welding wire after tacking the middle plates. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Takes long to weld up. |

Re: 51 chevy build
Finished welding the boxing plates.
Made a gas tank cage super tight. And 2 straps to hold it down. The two bulkhead fittings were leaking in the bottom of the tank so i had to drain the tank and reach inside through all of the foam and impossibly get a wrench on it. Made a mess of gass. [IMG][/IMG] |
