Thanks for the info. I think I'll leave the flatbed on for now. I was glad to see it's a fuel injected truck. Baffling they stuck to the carbureted 1985 details after seeing all of the paperwork and maintenance records stating it's a 1989. Is the wheelbase 4" longer or just the rear frame section? Harlowhead

Roger, I just figure most guys take dually beds off to make the truck more useful. To each his own.
I'm considering yanking my 454 out of my dually flatbed and replacing with a 6 cylinder. I suppose most folks would consider that blashepmy, but it makes good sense for my situation. |
