I decided to try something different for testing and development. I just pick up an 76 Chevy short bed for this project. The truck has a ton of room for future engine swaps and will be a great base to start with. The first drivetrain that is going in it is the camaro LFX engine. At 323hp with a 6 speed auto it should run great. I dont think everyone needs a 400 hp ls engine and some might want a great daily driver that has power and some fuel economy. These engines are dirt cheap as well. It should be a breeze to drop in a small engine and I will have lots of room. I will do a video series on my youtube channel for any that want to follow along.

That's a cool idea. I've seem a million LS swaps but not a single v6 swap. That will make for a neat little economy build and cruiser.

where the heck do you work with all them jeeps? i was contemplating a camaro v6 swap in my wifes YJ but the wire harness worried me.

I thought about this when I was motor shopping. Almost bit the bullet, but got a 6.0 instead. Still not running, but i doubt i would have regretted the V6. Good on ya!
