1967 chevy c-30 tow truck
hello,
this is my 1967 c30 tow truck i purchased this truck about 6 months ago after seeing it in a field. I have replaced gas tank, carb and radiator to get it running and driving, i want to make some upgrades to the brakes and rear diff what vehicles i should be looking for for donor parts i have read that i need to look for a crew cab dually 78-80?? i have also been told i need to look for cab and chassis donor trucks which is the right one?? Nice truck.
I have a '68 similar to it. Also have a Holmes 440 that I may put on it some day. I'm keeping mine all original though.

I used a 14 bolt FF from an 85 P30 in my cab and chassis 70 C30. Also have a 85 front end from a Silverado. Used a 93 NV4500 trans from...well, I'm not sure what it came out of but it was 93. Not saying any of this will work for your 67 just saying that depending upon your goals, there may be a few possible donor trucks.
