question about power steering
I was wondering if it is possible to use the power steering setup off of a 84 4x4 blazer on my two wheel drive 69 swb........thanx for any help and here is a pic of my babe

Unfortunately not. If you look at the way each bolt on to your steering you will see the differnce in the two. I believe the 4x4 takes a big nut on the end while a 2x4 has a bolt in the side to "pinch" it tight. I would get the 4x4 box anyway because it is worth more $$$ than the 2x4 one. If you had a 84 2x4 box it would work other than the different fittings from the pump.

not 100% sure but i think 4x4 and 2 wheel drive use different powersteering gear boxes

4x4 boxes are diffrent. But like said, I would hold on to it if ya can. Also 84 will have metric line fittings going into the box.
