Original Jack
Just wondering how many of you have that wonder stock jack with all the mounting hardware and handle?
Do you actually have it mounted in your cab?

Re: Original Jack
I went camping a little over a year ago without checking that I had a jack. I had new tires and didn't run over anything, though one of the guys ended up with TWO flat tires. I'll be better prepared for the next time!

Re: Original Jack
Everything was lost when I bought my project truck. Someone swiped or swapped, it had an era correct jack instead. Fit just as well on the floor as the original, and didn't require a long*&% handle. Nice jack, but the rebuild is original.
My driver had everything when I got it, including the bag. Can't speak for my project truck, but the bag on my driver is under the passenger seat. It's convenient, and probably kinder to the bag, though perhaps more dangerous. That said, cab corners have holes in them Come to think of it, my driver has a breaker bar with a socket on it too. Better than a lug wrench.

Re: Original Jack
I still have all of the stuff in the original bag. It was mounted in the corner but I removed it to put a speaker in there.

Re: Original Jack
After I found a newer replacement and mounted under the hood I found a complete set up for my Burban at a wrecking yard. Got it and now I'm Mr. Overkill with two jacks!
