aftermarket transmission crossmembers

I'd like to hear good and bad comments about aftermarket trans crossmembers for 82 C10 with TH350.

As you can see, my headers tuck up pretty tight, so a crossmember that lets me run both pipes above it would probably work best.

1981 C10 Silverado LWB -- sold, but wish I still had it!
1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.
Retired as a factory automation products salesman.
Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop.

I have a tejas steel works crossmember and i love it. It weighs virtually nothing and it has welds that are a work of art.

Yes, the IFS unit is very nice looking, but pricey for my semi-beater truck.

I should measure the distance between my collectors, and their height relative to the frame rails, and then get crossmember dimensions from IFS.

Just noticed the Tejas crossmember. Will have to check it out.
