Should I install my rubber cab mounts or just set the cab and bed on the frame? My truck was blasted while off the frame. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure as to what you're asking. Do you want the bottom painted completely? If so then leave it off and lay it on its back so the painter can easily paint the bottom and firewall and likely some of the interior. But check with your painter to see what makes him happy.

At this point we're planning to spray the bottom, mount and paint. Just have to tape things off.

My truck was blasted top to bottom. I’m just asking should I install bushing now or wait till after the whole truck is painted underside included.

I would put the various bushings in. If any alignment or questions come up, it's sitting at the correct ride height. If you do any painting, you can clean the paint off the rubber parts, or if you're going to that much expense (painting top and bottom) and extra set of bushings is a negligible cost. Just my thoughts...

Are you planning on treating the insides of the voids under the floor? If so I would do that, then paint it off the frame, and then put it on the frame.

More than one way to do it, pros & cons to each. I suggest you mount the cab, doors, fenders, hood, cowl & grille so you can shim everything for proper fit BEFORE you paint it. Then you can blow it back apart to paint.

Or, you can paint the insides/undersides, assemble it, leave it together & spray the outside as one piece.

Solid color I'd blow apart, metallic I'd spray with truck assembled. This is just me though, spray it how you feel comfortable.

Side note: I enjoy cut & buff more when it's blown apart because it's easier to clean the compound out of the nooks & crannies. (if "enjoy" is the right word)
