Another ls swap from a new guy

I ended up brazing a 1/8" npt fitting into the upper tank. Figured I could run the steam line along the upper radiator hose and it'd blend in fairly well.

Slow but steady progress. I got the engine and trans put in place for the last time. So far everything has been fairly smooth. Getting down to the odds and ends. Also got my windstar fan. They fit surprisingly well. Simple brackets top and bottom.

Front clip is back on and more falling into place. It's in the home run. The harness was a rework from easy Efi in Vancouver wa. These guys were a pleasure to work with. So far I recommend them. It layed out and install was a snap. I picked up an auxiliary battery tray out of mid 90's chevy diesel. Took a little cutting and welding to work but it was pretty close. Of course I forgot to take pics. Used and s10 ecm mount behind the headlight on the core support. It's tight but works well. Dbw box mounted near the wash reservoir. Still working on getting a mount for the fuse box made and need to pick up a relay kit for the fans. Anyone have a suggestion there? Otherwise we're down to trans cooler lines, final wiring, new fluids and see if it'll fire off.

Looking good!!! I'll be starting my ls2 swap in my 71 in the next few weeks. Hopefully mine goes as good as yours. I think I'll go look at easy efi myself I was planning on using psi but I kinda like the fact there local. Hope you get her running soon.

Thanks mongo. I ordered a few more parts today. Hopefully I'll be starting it for the first time my next days off work.

Short71- they've been good to deal with. Personable, nice guys. Chris does the harness work. They're down off 99 a little ways in hazel dell.

No yet HartRod. I haven't looked at it much yet. Im stuck between cut and weld or getting ahold of you. It's out of an 01. Have something that will accommodate?

Got it running! I still have a few a few things to do. For now I just used the stock air intake set up with some old filter that came off of who knows what? I had the brake light switch unplugged and somehow managed to unplug the neutral safety switch in the process (fat fingers). Took about 5 mins to figure that out and it fired as soon as I hit the key. I used lokars linkage kit for the shifter. I can get PRND to line out on the indicator but 321 do not. But, I can get it into all gears so it's good enough for now. The rebuilt 205 came off a half ton. I didn't realize this until I lined up the rear driveline. Deciding wether to make a conversion joint or go ahead and change both the yokes. I've also yet to route my pedal and obd11 harnesses. Anyone got any pics of how to do so cleanly? My first thought was a bulkhead but I'm not having much luck with that.
