Looks like the 70 Nova box is mounted on the "inside" of the frame, where the 72 C-10 Box is mounted to the outside. So no.

I agree ... the Nova steering boxes (along with many other GM car steering boxes) mount to the inside of the frame as opposed to the truck boxes that mount outside.

Assuming your C10 has an inline-6 (like the Nova), you should be able to use the power steering pump, pulleys, and pump mounting brackets though.

Yup. 6 cyl. I was at work earlier and couldn't do the research as far as what steering box fit and what wouldn't. I appreciate the quick help in a pinch. I think I have all the other stuff sewed up for $200. It's on the car and operable which is great so I can see it work. Just have to get there and remove it.

You need a steering box and pitman arm from a '68-'86 C series truck, Suburban or 2wd K5 Blazer or a '87-'91 R series truck, Suburban or 2wd K5 Blazer.

Thanks cap. I'm going tomorrow am to grab the pump, brackets, etc. He has a 84 c10 there with a 350 in it as well. Maybe I can get the steering box off that. I'll look when I'm there. When you get a chance, pm me the payment info for one of your steering box brackets for a 66 c10. Thanks.
