Fuel line fitment issues

So I'm having a bit of trouble with my new fuel tank. Got it bolted in, new sending unit installed, and lock ring around the sending unit. Problem is I have the original fuel line in the truck and the new sending unit has a bigger fitting than the fuel line (which I'm pretty sure is 3/8" od). So my question is has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to solve it. Fuel tank and sending unit both came from LMC. Thanks

Re: Fuel line fitment issues

These trucks came with 5/16" & 3/8" fuel lines out of the tank, my guess: you have 5/16 line and a 3/8" sender?

What B. W. said.
If I recall correctly, the 5/16" was used for 6 cylinder trucks and 3/8" was for V-8s.
