Factory 1967 C10 327 with no code on option sticker?
Hey guys, I’m looking at a pretty original 67 C10 Custom tomorrow that the owner says is a factory 327. He sent me a pic of the sticker in glovebox and that’s not listed as an option. Only power train option was a power glide. I asked if it was a 283 and he said he’s positive it’s a factory 327. Any thoughts?

If there is no engine listed on the SPID and the model number starts with CS it was a 250 truck, and if it starts with CE it’s a 283 truck.

I'd also ask for the numbers stamped on the engine. IIRC "YS" is the suffix for '67 220HP 327 in truck.

Passenger side of the block in front of the head. Casting # is on the back of the block on the top of the casting where the tranny bolts on. Here is a link to help.
