Ok to sandblast the backrest of a 66 bench?
I was going to have a few last things sandblasted in my restore and before I send this off and have every spring shot off and missing, has anyone ever had success with sandblasting the backrest with all those springs attached?

I watched it being done at the powder-coating shop. Before they powder-coated mine.

It should be fine. Now if any springs are broken, they might come up missing.
